Polyurethane foam sealants are products that provide airtight insulation around materials, joints and components. The substance acts as a filler to seal cracks and holes around parts and fittings. These sealants form a barrier to repel moisture, insects and air from creeping into gaps.

Chlorinated paraffin(CP):

Chlorinated paraffin offers a low-cost, flame-retardant solution for a wide range of applications. When exposed to high temperatures, CP releases a substantial amount of HCI. In its condensed phase, HCI contributes to the formation of char. In its vapor phase, it can function as a flame poison. Additionally, the decomposed CP forms a char-like residue, which also acts as a flame retardant.

Expandable Graphite(EG):

Expandable Graphite is a flake form carbon, which will grow in size/volume in case of high temperatures, and will form a char at the fire surface, to stop the spread of flame;
